BY Carolyn Horwitz Billboard Writer

Major Songs, the ASCAP-affiliated publishing company that includes the catalog of the late Carl Sigman, has forged 16 international subpublishing deals. Major recently inked a North American administration deal with Bug Music (Bulletin, July 16).

Among the new subpublishing partners, to be announced today, are Windswept Pacific (U.K.), Melodie der Welt (Germany), Halit Music (France), Fujipacific (Japan), Universal Music Publishing (Australia), Air Chrysalis (Scandinavia), BMG Music Publishing (Asia), and Warner/Chappell (Greece).

The Sigman catalog includes “Arrivederci Roma,” “It’s All In The Game,” “Buona Sera,” and “Love Story.” His song “What Now My Love” was recently featured on hit albums by Germany’s Helmut Lotti and France’s Patricia Kaas.
